Not quite big enough for me. The outside slip pocket is not deep enough or wide enough to hold my iphone with an otterbox . The leather is beautiful, but looks like it would show scratches easily. I had high hopes for this purse, but I am returning it.

This purse works perfectly for me...because it is wide it holds what I need and I can find what I need. The shape of purse fits nicely under my arm when I carry it on my shoulder.
The leather is nice, the zipper works fine but maybe Hobo could have used a zipper of just a bit better quality.
This purse is going to become a favorite.

This is a well designed and well made bag. However, the actual color is definately "Bordeau" and not the red that it appears to be in photo. It is a deep bluish "red". If that is the color you are looking for, I think you will be happy.
